Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Cost For an Initial Consultation?

There is no charge for an Initial Consultation, whether by phone or Zoom/Skype. We charge a nominal fee for the introductory membership to prevent spam.

Can I Use my Insurance?

We do not accept insurance. This helps us keep our prices as low as possible for our patients.

What Are Your Fees?

The initial consultation and free health assessment are included in our Introductory membership for $4.99. After the Introductory membership, we offer two additional packages. A Maintenance membership provides access to regular consultations with Dr. Falor and a 5% discount on Xymogen supplements. The VIPatient membership provides dedicated priority for your health goals over a set period of time, and involves a commitment from the patient, and Dr. Falor. The VIPatient protocols are designed to help you reach your health goals. To get started, forms must be completed, a medical history, health assessment (completed if the patient starts with an introductory membership), and a daily record of food intake. To get started on a VIPatient protocol, we start with a certified lab blood test.

When the results of the comprehensive, certified blood test are received, they are analyzed along with the health assessment and daily record of food intake. A report of findings consultation will be scheduled to review everything with you.  The fees are as follows:

Comprehensive Blood Test       $425

Report of Findings                      $250 (Included with 1st month of VIPatient membership)

(This includes the Analysis of the Blood Test together with all paperwork and approximately one hour for the Report of Findings consultation)

Supplements - Supplement fees vary based on the results of the Report of Findings

For a more detailed example of VIPatient pricing, see the Functional Health page.

Do I Have to Consult with a Doctor before I Can Purchase Products?
No.  A Doctor is always available for you if you have questions, but it is not required to purchase products.

How are Your Professional-Grade Products Different from Those I Can Buy at the Grocery Store or Online?
Professional-Grade supplements are manufactured to very strict standards of quality and effectiveness. Over-the-Counter supplements, on the other hand, are not regulated in any way.

Stop Wasting Your Time, and Your Money

People have become accustomed to seeing the vague “we use only the purest ingredients” in the promotional materials of almost every dietary supplement company. Not every Doctor has the time or expertise in nutrition to help you determine what will work best for you.

How does the average person really know what makes an ingredient “pure”? How is one supplement manufacturer different, and how do you know which supplements to choose for what you're trying to achieve?

Below are some important reasons why not to consider over-the-counter brand and also the reasons we only offer you the highest quality, professional grade supplements in addition to online coaching and support.

Pure Ingredients

Professional-grade supplement companies use only the highest quality, raw ingredients which are regularly tested for impurities. Most over-the-counter brands don't bother to make the extra effort.

Additives You Don't Want

Professional-grade supplement brands exclude impure additives and are free of "fillers" and "bulking agents" (called exipients) which block the absorption and bioavailability of the nutrients.

An example of one of the more common "exipients" is Magnesium Stearate and Stearic Acid, which is commonly utilized as a flowing agent to ensure that maximum productivity is obtained from capsuling and tableting machines.

In addition, manufacturers of over-the-counter supplements add other binders such as lactose and dextrose to make the powder flow quickly and easily through their high-volume machines.

These additives not only compromise the bioavailability of the nutrients in the supplement, but also cause allergenic problems. In people with a compromised digestive tract, this can cause additional inflammation in an already fragile digestive system.

As with many industries, the bottom line dictates the level of quality. The dietary supplement industry has just a few exceptions; companies who are not willing to compromise, such as the company Dr. Falor trusts for quality, as well as integrity and ethics: Xymogen.

Supplements in Tablet form Vs. Capsules

Tablets require binders, lubricants, coatings, and other fillers. Some are even sprayed with shellac (called pharmaceutical glaze) or vegetable protein, frequently derived from corn, corn which in the U.S. is usually a GMO crop. Many tablets also contain colorings and flavorings. High-quality supplements are only found in capsule form using hypoallergenic vegetarian capsules to provide the purest supplements possible.

Other Concerns

The body requires the conversion of many vitamins from the form in which they’re originally ingested, to the activated form that our bodies can actually use. This is why the professional-grade supplements that I utilize with my patients contain raw ingredients that are active and bio-available.

Some examples of these bio-available nutrients are: Pyridoxal-5’-phosphate, the active form of Vitamin B6. Riboflavin 5’-phosphate, the active form of Vitamin B2. Methylcobalamin, the active form of Vitamin B12, and 5 Methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) the active form of Folic Acid.

Why is this important? People who are extremely allergic, chemically sensitive, and immune-compromised often have trouble making these biological conversions. Other factors such as age and genetic predisposition can also contribute to an inability to absorb nutrients through food or supplements. When bio-available forms of nutrients are taken, the risk of a nutrient not being absorbed is eliminated.

Professional-grade supplement manufacturers also formulate products based on dosages used in scientific studies. This is important because studies form the basis from which professional-grade supplements are created, and from which the supplement dosages are recommended.

The Bottom Line

Professional grade products may be slightly more expensive than over-the-counter brands, but, consider the benefits:

  • Access to a certified nutritionist to help you determine which supplements will be most effective to help you reach your health goals.

  • Coaching, guidance, and lab testing so you know what's working and what is not.

  • Professional-grade supplements are actually more cost-effective than over-the-counter supplements due to the superior bio-availability of their ingredients, therefore, providing optimal health benefits.

  • The sheer quality of nutrients found in professional-grade supplements are critical for preventing and reversing health problems caused by nutritional deficiencies. This is important since the modern diet usually fails to provide sufficient quantities of many essential vitamins and minerals.

  • Pharmaceutical grade ingredients and rigorous testing ensure that you’re getting only the safest and highest quality products. Over-the-counter supplements are not required to adhere to these standards, and there have been many reports of serious illnesses and side effects caused by tainted and unreported ingredients, as well as undeclared food allergens.
  • The fact that professional-grade supplements are usually only available from a Doctor means that you are getting the products that best suit your particular nutritional needs. And that you're actually getting what you pay for....saving you both TIME and MONEY.
